Aalborg Academy of Science, on 3/4/2018, agreed with the Iraqi University of Baghdad to sign a scientific cooperation agreement between the Academy and the University. This agreement was concluded between the President of Aalborg Academy of Science Prof. Dr. Talal al-Nadawy and the president of the University of Baghdad Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul Hussein Abdul Rasul. The two sides agreed on several important points, including the exchange of professors, the process of scientific exchanges, the sharing of expertise and several other points of interest to both parties.
Prof. Dr. Talal Al-Nadawy said that the two parties had agreed to conclude a scientific cooperation agreement, and Professor Dr. Alaa Abdel-Hussein welcomed the efforts of the Academy to open a branch in Iraq, as it contributes to the granting of new opportunities to those who wish to complete their postgraduate studies in the context of the fair competition between Universities that aim to provide the best scientific services to students of science.
Prof. Dr. Talal Al-Nadawy said: “We are keen to participate as an academy that plays its scientific role in the Diaspora. We have an important and active role in the homeland. We work side by side with Iraqi universities, colleges and institutes to expand the scientific services of students and cooperate with them in all fields.
Prof. Dr. Talal Al-Nadawy praised the spirit of cooperation and support which was touched by Professor Alaa Abdul Hussein, President of the University of Baghdad, and his support for Aalborg Academy, pointing out that this and the noble positions that have been taken by officials in all higher education facilities in Iraq, have put the academy as a president and bodies in front of greater responsibilities to serve the beloved country scientifically, will double the work to reflect it into a scientific reality.
