The Dean Of The Faculty

Prof. Dr. Suhail Hussain Al-Fatlawi

Dean of the Faculty of Law at Aalborg Academy of Science. He held several senior scientific positions including Dean of the Faculty of Law at Baghdad University and Professor of International Law at the Faculty of Political Science at Baghdad University and Head of Law and Sharia at Sana’a University and Professor of International Law at the Faculty of Law at Jerash University.

He has 60 printed books in the fields of international law, diplomacy, the philosophy of law, international organizations and international Islamic law. He has many English translated books and many papers in Arabic, English and Turkish, and he has more than 40 textbooks taught in Arab universities.

The Faculty seeks excellence and creativity in legal studies to elevate the legal cultural level to create an enriching generation believing in its scientific mission and the application of quality standards and performance improvements.

The college graduates annually a number of legal competencies in the under-graduate and postgraduate studies of the master and doctoral stages under the supervision of competent professors in the public and private spheres of law.

Vision:

Seeking excellence and creativity in the field of legal studies, scientific research, elevating the level of legal culture, and continuous and constructive interaction with the community.

Mission:

The Faculty of Law proceeds in its understanding of its humanitarian legal mission to recognize the sanctity, importance and defense of the right and the corresponding obligations that arise, and to establish a scientific legal methodology to establish an educated generation that deals with the totality of the challenges facing humanity in its various fields and complexities.

Objectives:

  1. Provide the community with graduates of law and holders of higher degrees specialized in the field of law.
  2. Upgrading the scientific level of students and establishing a proper understanding of the legal sciences and supporting sciences.
  3. Develop legal awareness among the members of society and seek interaction between the college and society.
  4. Pursuing the development and modernity in the field of legal studies with its different specialties.
