The Hall of Aalborg Academy of Science–Kansas State University office in Amman, Jordan, recently witnessed a public discussion of a PhD thesis, presented by student Emhamdd Mohammed Mahmoud Abu Khuzam which titled (the evolution of economic relations between Turkey and the Maghreb Union countries during the period 2005-2015).
The Academy had formed a committee to discuss the thesis by an academic decision, which included:
- Prof. Dr. Farouk Tawfiq Ibrahim al-Ibrahim / President and supervisor
- Prof. Dr. Rashid Abbas Al-Jazrawi / Member
- Dr. Ibrahim Abdul-Talib Al-Samarrai / Member
- Co – Professor Azizah Abu Dayeh/ Member
After a quick review in which the student summarized the most salient paragraphs of the research, interventions were made by the Chairperson and members of the Committee, commending the student’s effort in his thesis and registering scientific proposals that would enrich the contents of the thesis.
For his part, the student presented his thanks and appreciation to the Chairman and members of the Committee and promised to take into consideration the observations received in the final form of the research. He also thanked Dr. Farouk Tawfiq, the supervisor of the research, for his sponsorship, assistance and guidance to achieve this result and to complete the research in this way.
After a thorough discussion, the Committee issued its decision to accept the thesis and to grant the student a doctorate with a degree of excellence.
At the end, the student paid tribute to Aalborg Academy of Science in the Kingdom of Denmark for providing him this opportunity to achieve his scientific goals and to secure the requirements of success.
