At a joyful ceremony on Tuesday 19/12/2017 at Aalborg Academy of Science in the Kingdom of Denmark, a partnership and twinning agreement was announced with the American Kansas State University, where it was signed in the presence of representatives from the US side and a number of professors and academics in Europe and the homeland of Arab.
The President of the Academy, Dr. Talal Al-Nadawy, said that the agreement pushed the academy to the ranks of the highest scientific universities and transferred it from a private academy to an official one. Everyone knows that the Kansas State University has a long history of more than a century that has outstanding scientific achievements. Partnership with such university is a great achievement that serves the academy scientifically, as well as serving students where they will be given internationally recognized certificates.
The President of the Academy, Dr. Talal Al-Nadawy, said that behind this great achievement was strenuous efforts and hard work lasted day and night, including long discussions and meetings within the Academy in Denmark and meetings at the Kansas State University in America. For example, within the context of the discussions, we received a delegation from the American University a year ago, to look at the specifications and the quality system and the scientific level to see if the scientific reality of the academy qualifies it to sign a scientific agreement of partnership and recognition with an old university like Kansas or not! The delegation returned with full conviction of entitlement.
On the implementation and follow-up of this agreement, Dr. Talal Al-Nadawy pointed out that this agreement entered into force and the Kansas State University asked Dr. Imad Khamis, who has worked with them for more than 25 years, to be the coordinator and general supervisor of this partnership, assisted by Prof. Dr. Ike Ihie. “The University also requested to put the logo and the text of the agreement on the academy’s website and to publish it on the media.
